These scientists wanted to understand how plants grow taller. They planted different seeds in pots with soil and gave them different amounts of water each day. Some plants got a lot of water, some got a little water, and some got no water at all. The scientists measured how tall each plant grew over a few weeks. They found that the plants that got a lot of water grew the tallest, while the plants that got no water stayed very short. This study helped the scientists learn more about how important water is for plants to grow big and strong.
