These scientists wanted to learn more about how plants grow. They decided to do an experiment to see if playing music for plants would help them grow better.
First, they planted some seeds in pots and put them in a room with light and water. Then, they played music for some of the plants every day, while the other plants didn't hear any music.
After a few weeks, the scientists measured how tall the plants had grown and how many leaves they had. They found that the plants that listened to music grew a little bit taller and had more leaves than the plants that didn't hear any music.
This study showed that playing music for plants might help them grow better. It's like giving them a little dance party to help them grow big and strong!
